While minimising the environmental impact of the oil and gas sector is a key concern for actors in the industry, it remains true that much of the world still runs on fuel generated by the sector. With this in mind, we consider new exploration methods and projects, and ask how best the industry can balance the need to expand with its environmental and social responsibilities.
