Welcome to this quarter’s magazine. 

Over the past 18 months, we have written much on the trade sanctions the West has set against Russia. In response to the country’s invasion of Ukraine, the global oil and gas market shook, and is only now resettling. We take a look at the new landscape of gas, and how Europe has expanded its LNG facilities to compensate.  

These new facilities trade on the seas, so we examine efforts to decarbonise shipping, and how they might impact the oil and gas industry. 

In good news, a disaster is averted in Yemen. A UN intervention has prevented what would have been the fifth-largest oil spill in history: we tell the story. 

Also, parent company GlobalData will provide insight into the expanding use of robotics in the oil and gas industry.
