The Azeri Central East project is the new phase of development in the Azeri, Chirag and Deepwater Gunashli contract area, the seventh oil-producing platform installed in the Azeri–Chirag–Gunashli field. The $6bn project was announced following a deal with Azerbaijan to extend the operational life of the field.

Project type: LNG terminal 

Location: Gujarat, India 

Ownership: Swan Energy, Gujarat Maritime Board 

Start of production: End of 2024 

The Swan LNG terminal being developed in Gujarat, India will be the country’s first greenfield LNG port venture. Swan Energy procured the final environmental clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and a letter of intent from the Gujarat Maritime Board to develop the project.

Location: Nigeria

Discovered: 1964 

The Ubeta gas and condensate field is located within the Oil Mining Lease 58 onshore license in Nigeria. OML 58 license is jointly owned by TotalEnergies, along with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, which holds a majority share of 60%.
